The panel schedule for this weekend’s Baltimore Comic Con at the Baltimore Convention Center has been released. I’ll be participating in back-to-back panels on Saturday, both held in Room 307.

From 11 a.m. until noon Saturday, I’ll be part of the Deadlands panel, along with David Gallaher, Steve Ellis, Jimmy Palmiotti, Lee Moder and C. Edward Sellner, discussing the Deadlands one-shots I edited, as well as future plans for the weird Western franchise.

Then from noon until 1 p.m., I’ll stay right in the same seat and be joined by publisher Filip Sablik and writer Josh Fialkov for the Top Cow panel. The panel will give an inside look at plans for the coming year, including my ongoing “Artifacts” and “Magdalena” series respectively. All attendees will receive a free gift (a phrase that has always perplexed me in its redundancy).

The full panel schedule can be found here:

I should also mention that the Visionary/Deadlands booth will be offering a very limited, exclusive Baltimore Con sketch cover for “Deadlands: Death Was Silent,” the one-shot I wrote, with Bart Sears on art and Mike Atiyeh on colors. The regular cover hits shelves today, and there’s an advance review on Newsarama here: The Best Shots review calls the issue, “…a nice addition to the current crop of horror comics.” You can see a sizable preview of “Death Was Silent” here:

The sketch cover, which you can see here, is a jam piece by Steve Ellis, Lee Moder and Bart Sears, the artists on the first three one-shots. Ellis and Moder will both be on hand to sign copies. Get ’em while they last!
